Brookfoot - Tony RIleys - Calder and Hebble - River Calder - Aire and Calder
Tony Riley's Pond

Tony RIleys is part of the Brookfoot Lake fishery. We have recently enlarged the water and turned it into a 22 peg, match lake as part of the main lake project. The pond contains a mixed species head of fish from smaller stock examples (carp, tench, roach, rudd and small skimmer bream) to larger, mature fish. With the depth varying from 1-2.5m (the old side being the deeper) there are lily pads beginning to mature and hold fish.

The club has designated the water a 'members' only fishery. Pole and whip fishing are the most popular methods, with barbless hooks and some carp/trout baits as the main restrictions. With the depth varying from 1-2.5m (the old side being the deeper) there are lily pads beginning to mature and hold fish. If your are lucky, recent catches have produced 10lb plus for a five hour session, though as ever, it can be hard to get bites. Please fish from the flagstones used to mark the pegs). Unfortunately, we do not have toilet facilities at the fishery.
