An unfortunate title but this length runs by the side of the 'Cooper Bridge' sewage treatment plant. Viewed to the west, this is the lower end of this length of the river section. Fishing is from the right hand bank - upstream. Parking for the venue is rather difficult and places few. Parking on the main Leeds road is possible with care but ‘NO PARKING’ in the approach road to the sludge treatment plant. Access is via the canal cut (no fishing in the cut either side of the Leeds-Huddersfield road). The banks are steep and overgrown but can be made reasonably comfortable. Roach, chub, the occasional ide, trout and barbel can be had to caster and hemp, maggot or worm. ‘Shared with Bradford No1 A.A.’
