Enter via steps to the towpath. There is some restriction behind if you are using the pole method. There are large oak trees on the opposite bank, which come low to the water. Most of the length is appx’ 14m wide and shelves to both sides. The length averages 1.5m deep down the track with some weed on the shelves.

Caster/hemp are good in summer for the better fish though most bait's work well. However, groundbait is questionable. In winter, bloodworm, joker, or squats are the stock baits
