Redbeck

Viewed to the east. The 'Red Beck' of the sections name, enters the canal on a bend in distance and is a very popular venue for pleasure anglers as well as a winning hot spot in matches. Good bream, chub, roach, and the growing number of trout can be caught as well as run of the mill fish.

Caster is about the best bait for bigger fish but all others work well according to conditions and time of year. Pike can put in an appearance occasionally, some to double figures. This length is app. 18/20m wide with shelves on both sides but narrows to 5m past the cliff face. Depth varies from 1.5-2m in places.
