One of the best starts to a season for the match lads on the pond but even here one or two really struggled in the strong cold  windy wet conditions ...near 18lb and back up of 14 and 11 with most having at least one tussel with the odd carp BOOK ON EARLY for the april contest as pegs are at a premium and the £5.00 booking fee is strictly enforced.

All our river water is closed from the 15th march until 25th March - both dates inclusivefrom the 26th March until the 15th June fishing for trout is open on the rivers but with minnow, fly, worm and artificial lure only.
