This is the high wall (on the left) looking east. The low wall is at the back of Sainsbury's (Brighouse), just beyond the far bridge in the picture. Up to 18m wide with an average track depth of 1.5m. If you can avoid the supermarket trolleys, the main shelf is to the opposite side of the towpath. A popular match length and dry nets are few. Very accessible to wheelchairs, this section has park and display immediately behind the towpath. The height above the water can be problematic. There are good roach and bream to be had on caster - perch to worm/maggot, with stock fish to squat and pinkie. This section is well worth breaking the ice for in winter.
