Browns
The top end of the length known locally as 'Browns' just below Ganney lock, looking east. The other end of the length begins at the 'Anchor Bridge'. The length is 20m wide at this end slimming to 18m mid length before reaching the town centre. Platforms are provided though some are overgrown and are not particularly suitable for the wheelchair angler. However, there are a few pegs that can be fished nearer the town end and where parking and access is better. An on-off length where plenty of stamp fish can be caught to most baits with occasional good specimens to be had. Shelves to both sides of the length with the track averaging 1.5m. Pike can occasionally rob you of small fish.
