(Incorporating) Tony Riley's Pond. The Lake is situated 1 mile west from the centre of Brighouse and accessed via the A6025. Brookfoot is a 3½-acre lake that has been developed from an old gravel pit. Brookfoot Lake is the clubs 'jewel' and the main asset of the association and which we are taking care to improve the fishery in planned stages. Much of the work that has been done to date has been with the help of a few dedicated members and latterly (Web fell) contractors, who have provided the in-fill and constructed three islands creating new features to fish to.

An overflow has now been constructed near the car park end of the lake and will prevent the perennial flooding that has marred access to fishing in the past. (If you see an Ark being built in the car park, then you can worry).

Work is due to start soon on a pathway to be constructed along the northern side of the lake that will open new pegs for fishing and this will complete access to fishing all round the lake. There is a fairly large car park at the eastern end of the lake. Brookfoot Lake also incorporates Tony Riley's Pond. Situated at the SW corner. This small fishery was developed from a one time stock pond as part of the overall project. The pond has been enlarged, landscaped and become a well-stocked, small match and casual fishery where most species can be caught.
